I really hate saying this but my 3month old unit had a e code I turned it off then back on and it was fine. I'm going to send it in as I still got 9 months warranty left. My old unit was 5 years old and never had one problem

Did it happen when you turned it on, or during operation? At least have written record with Valentine of this. Contact them and they will tell you that is was just a (software) glitch or needs to be checked out and sent in. It may never happen again. But be safe and keep records for the future if it needs repair down the line for free......
