Need a little help please on my V1

i own two v1's and will need a little help on one of them.. i bought one for 100.00 today and all the lights work sounds work
it has 3.813 firmware and was wondering why it don't go off when i pass the Walgreen store like my other one does with 3.819 firmware ..is there a way to reset it.
and i did not have them both plugged in cause i herd it causes problems.


3.813 serial # 7352480723 don't go off
the 3.819 serial# 6931170768 does go off

go to the V1 site, there's a link to their Tech stuff, print out the program guide & set everything to the defaults (noted). Programming is easier than it seems - don't be scared to tear into it.

thanks brother but all i came up with was this ........Page Not Found says Note for V1s with software version 3.891 and higher allow the user to reset all feature programming to factory defaults.. mine is 3.813

I must be getting old..lol.. but i need to turn off false alarm guard on KA band noted on the website as #6 but i just don't understand it
I don't even know if the KA band is even turned on.... been driving around town and nothing beeps like my other V1

^ Don't know what to say...the directions on VR website are straight forward.Only thing i could do is repeat them which you probably wouldn't grasp either.
How about just trying the "re-set to factory default settings" step.That should be easy to do,at least all bands would be turned "ON" if you have doubts about one or some being "OFF".

Got it ..after reading the whole thing it was simple as it can get.... the guard for ka band was on and now i set it to off... thanks
for your help i appreciate it.. now to go for a ride to test it

ok went for a ride and its still the same no alert so i got on I-75 where they are doing construction and have them speed signs that set off your radar and display your speed and still nothing so i turned around
and went back with my org V1 (the newer one).. and it alerted 5 miles before that same radar sign...im stumped i have both radars programed the exact way ... help !!!!!!.. lol

With no LED's lighting & no audible warning of receiving a radar signal it obviously is a sick patient & needs to be sent to VR intensive care for the Doctor to make it well again.
Time to spend some benjamins.
