Default V1 All Band Sweep Time?

Does anyone know how long in seconds the V1 takes to do a complete sweep (factory settings) of all the bands? I'm debating shutting off the X band if no one uses it where I drive. If I do, what time would I gain in sweeping just the other bands ?

Hundreds of milliseconds IF no alerts occur causing a "latch" holding for several seconds on a received radar signal.

Well, if a 100 miliseconds equals 1 second, then I assume you mean up to a few seconds for each complete sweep of all bands?

    ^ Incorrect !

    A millisecond is 1/1000th of a second.
    Therefore 1,000 mS = 1 second.

what i have heard is most detectors scan at the 240 millisecond range. Of course this isn't for the segmented models

You are correct. My old age is showing its signs So considering, that's pretty fast unless you are doing a hundred - then tenths of a second starts to become important. I have a Pocket Radar and after several tries, the detector alerts within a couple of tenths of a second or faster
