just turn pop off..there's no need to revert back to an older revision.
Personally I like knowing if it's Junk detector setting my detector off otherwise I may think its an LEO running the same speed as my hiding behind some cars in the same lane.

But shouldn't that still just light one arrow? The side arrow normally indicates equal/near equal levels on both antennas. 1 bogey = 1 arrow. The only time more than 1 arrow should light is if more than one bogey is present.Originally Posted by Cloud9
Has anyone seen this on newer (POP/3.826) V1s?
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!
If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
Active Countermeasures: V1 3.858, Escort Redline, Beltronics STi-R+, LI Dual 7.1x CPU/8.7 Heads (front)
Other/Backup Countermeasures: V1 3.813 (loaned to friend), Beltronics Pro RX65 M4 6.3
Vehicle: 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
LEO Toys: Kustom Pro Laser II & III
Encounters/Saves August 2011: Radar 3/1, Laser 0/0
All I know is when you get right next to a source like that radar is bouncing all over the place hiting both antenas on your radar detector at different times. it causes the arrows to go crazy....its normal.
I've seen this with my 2003 v1 model.
Mine's from 2004. Have you seen it with your 3.826?Originally Posted by Cloud9

No I don't have that, but I had very little with my 3.825...Originally Posted by kpatz
My crazy arrows and bogey ghosting cleared up with 3.826. It now appears to be correct from my limited experience with it so far. I have gone past speed signs and things that used to ghost and go arrow crazy and it is now correct. They still haven't solved the J problem however.

The problems that you have discussed, I have not seen on my 3.813. Not one. I dont experience crazy Arrows or ghosting. I havent gotten a false Ka alert since I accidently turned off my ka guard setting a year ago.Originally Posted by davekr
With POP off you still get J alerts.. Do you not?
How many people that had the 3.813 and used it for a while, upgraded to 3.826 and think that the new revision is better? Anyone in here?
the fact that others and me have had crazy arrows when virtually on top of the radar source has nothing to do with revisions. It happened on my 2003 model as well.
you can turn J alerts off I believe...J alerts are a good thing..it lets me know when a POS detector is near by rather than thinking it could be an LEO following at the same speed hidden behind other cars.
when your V1 alerts you off J, my V1 stays silent... the only time my V1 alerts me of Ka, is when its a REAL cop.
