I hope nobody here honestly thinks doing double the speed limit is normal, safe, or commonplace. In fact, I think it is the vast vast minority.

It takes a lot of power to make an SUV that fast too. Probably about 500 HP! GM had a performance package for the Escalade (525 HP cost $25K!) that gave it a 0-60 in upper 5 sec. range. Quite frankly I wouldn't feel comfortable going that fast (over 70-75 MPH) in an SUV with the high center of gravity. It's too easy to roll them.

Haha x2 there, I guess there are 2 reasons why they are the minority....

1st) Most people have a little more sense to them, then to do what the minority here is doing.

2nd) They dont have a very long lifespans. :lol: :lol:


'Fanboyism'... what a great word to describe Brent_Vino... I think it brings up a few good ideas for 'Ford focus 05's video on jokes about forum members (Brent)... two ideas could be:

1) A (tight) shot of the back of 'Brent' in a small room ... and you hear his mumbles, they the video camera pans 45 Degrees (left or right), and zooms out... so you see what Brent is actually doing... he is praying to a picture of Mike V. on the wall. :lol: :lol: (Or a V1 for that matter).

2) A shot of a car with fogged up windows...at a 'make-out type place' (a clearing in the woods) and someone opens up the rear door, and you just see a blanket... with a neck/head that represents Brent of course, and then you here him saying 'I love you' and then turn the V1 on and have it light up and display 'P o P' right next to the person representing him (Brent).
