    Default upgraded and hardwired=fireworks display

    OK guys, I was convinced to get the upgrade, just had it hardwired HIGH.......then the fireworks!.....jesus, bogey counter going crazy...4..5..x band....arrows flashing constantly.....now tell me how to program this bad boy!......I noticed an "A" on my display at all times.....HELP!!!!!!.....dazzled in Poughkeepsie, NY

    the A means you have it in the all bogeys mode, other other 2 are l logic and L advanced logic, them modes let the computer deside if its a false alert or a real threat... before alerting you...

    If you can turn X band off Japs, it will drive you nuts....

    you mean X band will drive you nuts..not TURNING OFF x band..


    depending on your area, you could probably get away with turning off x band. if your area still uses x band, switch it to either small L or large L.

    your in NY State. Big-L mode works the best as the v1 doesnt filter Ka band in that mode and thats your biggest threat aside from laser in NY. Also set the automute options for K-band and as everyone else said, disable X
