why do construction zones set off my V1?

i live in chicago and when in a construction zone, my V1 goes off when i pass the one area that is being worked on where heavy machinery and trucks are parked. it will go off maybe a 1/4 mile before these areas. its always 1-4 dots on the strength meter and usually X band. most times i will get 2 bogeys. i know for sure there are no radar cameras or signs and its definitely not police. do construction workers use some equipment that utilizes radar?

Drones, do a serach, they are nothing much, but beware a officer may be hideing behind one.

I have had the same experience Jon. I tracked mine to the generator/flashing sign to tell you to merge. I haven't seen any speed vans yet here in Anus country.
