    Default Hell yes

I've had the V1 for five days now. I think the best way to describe it is that I realized on the second day that I already was treating it as a dependable tool that was just another instrument in my car to tell me about the outside world, like my speedometer. Not a novelty POS hanging on my windshield that went off loudly for every X-band door opener and K-band drone.

Yes, the user interface is a little un-user-friendly, but I actually like it, especially the big volume knob and muting lever - the ease of adjusting volume is unparalleled.

And goddamn, the arrows give me so much piece of mind and security. I know whether to look ahead or behind, I know when I've passed an LEO (such as the two night encounters I've had this week), and I'm not frantically worried about where the threat is and I've passed it. In short, I'm no longer blind.

Anyone want to buy a Bel 945? Works great to tell if you're at the supermarket yet.

Yes, if it hadn't been for Brent I would have gotten an RMR. I hear those things are AWESOME! My friend read an ad that said the RMR would not only detect the LEO, but also use "delta waves" to disable the LEO's engine so he couldn't chase you. I really really wanted one, but Brent's insistence that the V1 was the best made me reconsider.
