    Default First J out....X50 What????

I was driving down the road and just listening to some music and I here a weird freakin tone I had never herd before??? I look up and I see the "J" Flashing so I started to look around...I was looking for a Corbra or something and the ONLY RD I see around me was a 8500 X50 mounted in the middle of the windshield...I laugh because that means even the X50s leak cause of there plastic shell....But that was my first J out and it worked perfectly!!

I doubt it was the X50, unless it was just powered on.

    I had my V1 give a "J" from a Passport 8500/X-50 before.

I was on I-95 in Delaware, no other cars around. I got a quick Ka alert from the rear and a second later I got the "junk" signal. A Chevy Impala zipped around me, and I spotted an 8500/X-50 mounted high near his rearview mirror.

This surprised me as well, so I sped up and caught up with him. As I got close and came up behind him, I got a Ka alert to the front, which was junked out a second later, just as before.

I can confirm that the 8500/X-50 does alert to "junk" on a V1.

This happened just a few weeks ago.

I'm amazed at how everyone can tell a make and model of each small receiver especially if it is mounted high with modern slightly tinted auto glass?
    Blue lights maybe?
Did you turn off V1 and restart before the second encounter? Because it seems that many users experience that if not reset V1 will avoid the second signal that was "J"ed out the first time?
