Well i wrote a little something about it a couple of posts ago, and since then it's my opinion that the 560 is absolute garbage performance wise. i may just have a dud though. Got it from buy.com, but if you are going to get it i'd go to the local walmart since they carry it now...if you come to the same conclusion as me you'll have an easier time returning it. If your talking about proffesional reviews then i agree it's about time we see some testing.

I have one but have not had the time to test it with my guns.
Initial thoughts are it does not seem to false as much as the pro series.

The display sucks!!! You can change the brightness of the display but even on the dim mode the thing is so bright at night it will stick out like sore thumb.
If you turn the backlight off you can not read the display at all at night!!

Range seems to be on par with my PRO 58 on X and K band but the 2 times I have been alerted to KA I would not have had enough time to slow down. I am still waiting to see more alerts on KA before I say for sure that the KA has some issues on detection.
I do not have laser so I can not say anything about that.

If falsing is going to be a big issue where you live then I would say buy the XTR over the pro.

considering the Whistler I have is about hundred years old now almost anything is going to be better. its just a matter of how much protection I need. I dont speed hardly ever I only have it for those rare times when I am in a hurry.

I think my current one is a 1600 series maybe less. wife has it right now on trip to Florida

Well im goin to college and need everey lil $$$ i can get. But after messing with pro 58 i cant even think about selling my x50. Also another reason is that i have a $300 & $400 RD and a $400 stereo. Iwas just looking for something cheap that i could afford to leave up on the windshield, but if its going to cost me that much performance wise. Forget that. Ive had many rd's in just the past few years, including all the "Top 3". Not many high school students could say that.Hell not many men can say that. None come close to these top 3 performances. I guess im going to return my pro 58 or pawn it, and keep my x50. But when it comes to Highway driving, the V1 comes out hands down. <- LOVE IT!!!!!
