Pro 78 vs STI vs K & Ka 34.7 CO 6/28/07

Well guys something happened today that I never thought in a million years that I would see and that is My PRO 78 TIED the STI on K band around the curve. My first encounter happened as I was driving home. My Pro 78 started to alert to K band. About .50 miles further down there was a cop parked facing me running CO K band. So my happy ass turns off the Pro 78 and turns on the STI and I take a second pass. BAM the STI alerted at the exact spot as my Pro 78 which is right around the curve. So I am in shock and decide to take a 3rd pass with my STI on. I am thinking how the BEEEEEEEEP does a detector that costs 1/3 of the price keep up? My STI alerted at the same spot again. So I take a 4th pass with my Pro 78 and same results. I was like WTH. So I am driving home and there is a cop with someone pulled over with his K band radar on. I take two passes and they alerted at virtually the same spot about 1 mile warning. Again I am like NO WAY. So I decide two passes is enough since this was pretty straight highway and decide to keep going. Well I get another treat. A city cop is pulling someone out of the ditch with his 34.7 Ka on. I take two passes and receive about .75 mile warning on my Pro 78 and about 200' more warning on my STI. This encounter had a minor hill and a BIG curve. Again I was impressed as hell. So all in all I was BLOWN away today. If I was not a believer of the Pro 78 before I am now. This bad boy just might become my primary protector!
