Default hardwire whistler pro 58 HELP!

I have an 99 Acura TL and i want to hardwire my whistler pro 58 into the cruise control fuse so when i push the cruise control button the radar detector goes on...

i have the hardwire kit that came with the radar detector but i have no idea how to do it...

the wire has one end that plugs into the radar and the other end splits into 2 where one has a white case that contains a fuse as well as a wire coming out of that and it is a flat metal piece. the other wire has a 2 prong metal piece...

    any help please?

Ok....I have to ask...why? That seems silly. Do you only speed in cruise control? Or do you only cruise control when speeding?

ok the point of hardwiring the radar detector too cruise control is because on acura tl's there is a button that turns on cruise control...if i were to wire in to that button i can push the button and then the radar goes on........even though this button is on it does not mean im using cruise control it just means i can click cruise on the steering whell and it will set to cruise.

On Hondas the cruise control button is a convenient hardware switch effectively. I don't blame him for wanting to use it

Now I get it. My cruise control is the same way.

I wouldn't try to wire into that. Anything that could mess with the ECU I'd leave alone.

I hard-wired mine into the sunroof power. One wire went to the positive, the other was a ground.

Now I understand your confusion too. My Pro-73 hardwire kit had great instructions, but I ended up doing the same thing -- stripping off the little tip and pressing the wires into the power for the moon roof.
