Point blank rear laser is almost impossible for any windshield mounted RD to detect. And even if you do, your RD will only tell you that you have been hit. You are still going to get a ticket, even with the best laser detection out there. My RD cost me $1000 and I still got owned by rear laser. My laser jammers failed at this very close range. My laser alert went crazy, then I got pulled over and cited shortly thereafter. That's life. No RD would have saved me from this, only a super duper laser jammer would have a chance. I just gave the police officer credit for being a "sneaky Mutha" and moved on.

Ok, we're getting nowhere productive with both threads. All sides of the argument have been expressed. Can we close them?

    Default laser ticket

To top off all of his senselessness, he has the stones to blame the detector for his ticket.
