Upgraded from 73 to 78c wow!

Just upgraded to the pro 78 rev c last week and i am amzed at this unit. This is the quietest whistler that i have ever owned and i kno once it goes off you better listen! Ka is phenominal compared to the 73, recieved a C/O from a trooper well over 2-3 miles. I love the filtering on this unit best buy for sure!

I have a mounting question i drive an 01 explorer has anyone dealt with mounting on these windsheilds?. I have it hardwired above the rvm but i feel that its taking away from the rear detection and side detection as there isnt much room above the rvm. Just wonderin if this hinders any reception thanks

radar antenna is only at front so it doesnt matter if u stick it up high.

As long as nothing is directly blocking the front of the RD then you are totally good to go.

Pro 78 Rev C is a great RD. You nailed it perfectly when it goes off you better listen

hardwire your old pro 73 up high on the rear window to get max detection lol you should have the display memorize so if you see a flash of light in the rear view you know what kind of alert it is :wink:
