Even my V1 and X50 have issues against 35.5 from my recent drive....

i dont know but the pro 78 seems to have problems detecting threats that are anywhere but straight ahead. i was sitting at an intersection waiting for the light to turn green when a LEO passes and i get an instant 5 bar alert for the amount of time he is directly infront of my car and that was it.

so far the only differenc ei have noticed is the pro 78 being alot less sensitive as the xtr140. a leo was running c/o ka and i had maybe 500 feet of detection before we passed eachother going the opposite way in traffic

I'd say get with Mike B and arrange a check-up by him....it doesn't sound like your 78 is performing the way it should.

I've gotten 1 mile alerts easy with 35.5 c/o with my 78.

I got a 1.8mile c/o ka save from a texas dps truck that was park on the side a a building. Where i travel there is a lot of trees i don't know if that affects performance or not but i was very impress with my whistler pro 78. I have to say, when i got home i did a happy dance. I am still waiting for a 2.5 or 3 mile save maybe someday i will get one.
