I would love it if a new concealed remote system came out. The escort and Bel ones are wayyy to pricey for me. I was even thinking about getting the pro 3450 just because I like to install stuff on my jeep (lol its a jeep thing). Any one have any experience with it. I know its not as good as the pro 78 but it would look sweet, and maybe I could run them together lol.

how about having a clock, i dont have a compass but i think instead of just saying N on the display it would say N and the current time, maybe even a trip timer like a stopwatch

The ability to integrate other products into your set-up. (Belscort RD + ZR3/4) (V1+Concealed display) etc etc, it just leaves a ton of room open to do things. Also as you stated its what the other High-end RD's use... so why not use it? Also since its more universal (IE: Phone technology) its much more widely available and easier to find little products for.

I ask you: What is the reason not to?

oh and i almost forgot, would there be a point to having a silent auto test? i mean autotest checks to make sure all bands are functioning but is there a way to have it on but just do it silently? add a click on the menu for auto test, for off, onn and silent
