3 mile i/o ka detection

i was headed back from michigan yesterday, having only seen one state trooper in illinois shooting radar at traffic going the other direction just south of chicago. coming through oklahoma on highway 69 heading back into texas i came through a small town with a walmart. at the very last stoplight in town i recieved one blip of Ka. i sat at the redlight for a good two minutes with intermittent Ka band 1 strength ( i cought the yellow and was the first car sitting at the light), after the light turned green i drove a mile down the street without seeing anything with a full and slow ka band ramp up, Ka is now at full blast 9 alert and i still see nothing. i actually had time to look around and say i guess the heat finally got to my radar when my girlfriend points further down the road and says look a unmarked crown vic. i could just barely make out the front pusher bars on the car so it was still off in the distance

the road was completely flat, and after the red light i was at, the speed limit goes up to 55, 65 and then 70mph once you drive past the walmart on the corner. the unmarked leo was in oncoming traffic so when you factor in that to my detection range i guess it was plenty of time lol

other than that my trip was very uneventful, but i made great time heh

dont know, maybe i was too harsh with it but now that im back in town i had a 1mile pickup of a local plano pd supervisor from about a mile away, same situation at a redlight. ive noticed k band sensitivity has also increased to the door opener at target where i work
