Thank you for the very informative post. How do the sensors handle in weather conditions?

There doesn't seem to be that many problems, but I've heard of a couple bad rear sensors(I had one myself) that have died in the rain, but I haven't heard any problems on the front sensors.

I vote for DJ's location on the green spots.

I think you are confused as to what Veil does. Veil is not an IR light sponge. What Veil does, if say it's applied to a headlight, Veil keeps the IR light from penetrating through to the highly reflective surfaces that are the mirrors behind the headlamp, which then reduces the amount of IR light return to the lidar gun.

Even on my heavily Veiled car, there is still plenty of IR return from the painted surfaces and the Veiled surfaces of my car for instantaneous lidar readings, anywhere under about 1500ft for me. Unless your car has a very, very small lidar return to begin with, from what I've seen in my testing, Veil, by itself, has no noticable effect. When combined with even the cheapest of laser jammers, in my case the ZR4s, Veil makes for amazingly positive results.
Is Veil noticeable to the naked eye?

Yes. It depends how thick you apply it, as to how noticeable it is. Here's my Veil job. Others handpainted Veil applications look slightly different.
