Pro78se KA issues?

I seen some threads around here about the Pro78se losing some KA performance and I saw it today. I was driving my usual route to work and always encounter a LEO shooting 34.7 and I was almost on top of him before I was alerted.

So I double backed plugged my Pro78 non SE rev C and got like 5x the range so I then double back and plug in the 78se and I was on top of him before I was alerted.

Any suggestions? factory reset?

Pop off
KA maxID
Filter 1

Oh one more thing, the unit will auto dim in daylight.

Hmmm Seems like this has happened to a handful of people. PM Mike B he can fix it and give it a check up

Was the leo stationary each time you approached him and did you approach him from the opposite direction with the Rev C? If he happened to be using his rear antenna when you were approaching him the first time that could be a factor.(Assuming you were facing his front in the first time you approached him if he was stationary.)

We'll need to find out more before confirming that there is something wrong with your detector, if there is something wrong though, then I would be concerned seeing how many units have been sent to Michael B lately.
