LET THE BIRTH OF MANY TESTING GROUPS HAPPEN!
You want to know what it is like doing something for the love and passion and not for the mighty dollar then look up GOL!
buyradardetectors rocks!
I changed my question, and I have been using an 8500 from escort and to be honest it doesnt really seems that suprising, it does worse then my V1. I had 2 seconds to slowdown on a around the curve constant on 35.5
If you have a V1 then why do you want a whistler?
For my sisters car, and also a new toy to play with
Well for something to play with you can't go wrong at ~$200. Hey it might work great in your area who knows.
Well I need it for my sister to, she speeds just like me. Iam just trying to see how well it does with 35.5
The 78SE performs extremely well on 35.5, (as well as 34.7...regardless of what others have posted). You will have great encounters and so-so encounters depending on the situation...just like any other good detector out there.
You will learn to ignore some of the posters here. As you see..you asked about the Whistler 78SE and someone pops in with 8500. It has nothing to do with your question and is in fact trolling\hijacking the thread. I am happy to see that you own a 8500 and can speak from experience that it doesn't live up to the "hype" that some people give it here.
Also...a test is just that...a test, It doe not reflect real world conditions...you will not be sorry in choosing the Whistler 78SE. Take a look at Mikeslc's video's...they should give you a good idea of the results Whistler users experience every day.
just buy new Escort c65 for under $200(retail $349)
I mean I am not looking for that 2-4 mile range some where between .50 to 1.5 miles. Over hill is a big problem for me to, I got alot of hills here.
