If cordless is a must, yeah, it's a good one to get at a price like that, but if you can go corded, go with the $80 Bel. The detection range might be slightly lower, but the falsing won't be there as much.

You can get a Whistler 1793 SE currently at Costco for 124.99 I had it for over a month returned it for a full refund just too many falses and pulse alerts.
