Default 9500ci missing feature part 2

    1) Why not have the unit show the Frequency of the lockout when it is automatically stored? Or at least "band type"

    2) Why not show "released" when stored frequencies are removed when you enter the area again and signal is missing?

Also does anyone know if it stores x band singals when you have the unit with x band turned off? I noticed it will even when unit is in Autonox it stills shows stored when it locks out a x band automatically.

Default 9500ci missing feature part 3

Heading lock out, unit should have the ability to add direction to the lock out, so it would only lock out a alert in one direction, this way side streets would not be effected as well as other sides of the street away from the false alarm.

Does the CI not alert before lock out? My 9500ix does ... at least I've never noticed it locking out a signal without alerting to it first. So you always see the band or frequency (if you are in spec mode).

Released would be nice I guess.

It would be nice to be able to see your locked locations in Detector Tools though ... GPS coordinates would be fine.

    Released is a great add-on.

I think they should combine spec mode w/ expert. Have the initial alert flash in spec mode, then roll over to expert mode.

An additional feature which I would like is that, when the GPS icon start spinning, if the 9500ci would optionally show whether it presently is detecting an X, K or both X and K locked out signals. The reason for this new feature is that while driving it is virtually impossible to notice the spinning icon while your eyes are on the road. If the letters X and/or K lit up on the display then I would likely notice that even with my eyes on the road.

excellent idea; it always bothered me that you were restricted to one or the other and couldnt view both at once.
