Does anyone have any Laser Interceptor warranty horror stories they want to share?

I've had the Blinder system on several of my motorcycles and cars over the last 2-3 years. I recently pulled a set of M4X's off one of my vehicles when I sold it. I now have a new vehicle and before I re install the Blinder, I started looking around to see if there was anything different, better, etc.,

My internet searches took me LI, Laser Elite, and a few others. I was kinda' getting very interested in the Laser Elite based on some test publications put out by laserjammertest.com ( i think ).

Most of my feedback and input has been on this site and I've often wondered if there was some bias put forward by the forum sponsor, as might be expected from ANY forum sponsor. Needless to say, I found some talk about Neil Brown and the guy I've been communicating with about the Laser Elite, Chris something.. , on this site. Now I'm scratching my head confused.

There is an argument presented that LI owners are surprised to find that they have no warranty support (which I why I posted as I did ).

Is there anyone willing to touch this subject, given that there seems to be a love affair with LI on this site ?

I may decide just to reinstall my M series with the Cheetah interface, or SELL it and buy the new HP Blinder.

The LI issues brought to front by this Chris fellow has turned me off to Laser Elite and possibly Laser Interceptor....

Just lookin' for some objective, FACTUAL, input... Don't shoot the messenger.

I've had LI's on 3 different vehicles since then and have had great performance from the product, no warranty issues.
I did have a question about installation which was promptly handled by a phone call.

I have had LIs on three cars and since 2009. I have never had any problems with them. There is another radar detector forum I frequent and the same things are said there. The guys from laser elite have made illegal clones of the Alg9 and have violated many patents.

@tech57- Let me just say first ive owned a bel lp904, lp-905(bel), escort zr3(basically same as the lp-905 led jammer) then in 2012, purchased a blinder m27 which was excellent and never had issues. But it doesnt jam all the guns and where i live in florida, you never know what gun is coming so i wanted a voice recognition and jammer that has updates on their product(blinder never did 1 update...promising them all the time) and so i decided to try Laser interceptor instead of the new hp905 blinder. Let me say the warranty is very good with Li's. In fact, Cliff helped me daily for the first couple weeks "tuning" in my jammers, even replacing a head free as we were trying to figure out the interference i was getting. Turned out, it was the location of my jammer sensors being right on top of cars computer and battery, stereo amp, etc. So, i ran the jammers a different path(as suggested by cliff) problem fixed. Then cliff helped me with my firmware updates, etc. Always a call away. Always helping. The man even went as far as asking me if i wanted a refund(which i didnt) and after running the jammers in a different path away from computer, not one false since. I dont know how much better a warranty can get then that. Also a 2 year warranty on their product and free replacement for life of the laser diode itself. Blinder if theres one area they lack is on the customer service end. Before I bought the Li's in dec 2012, i was on the phone thinking of upgrading to the hp905 since i was so happy with blinder m27 duals. But blinder told me very little(no surprise there) and actually the person i spoke with was very rude and that was the tipping point clearing the way to try the Li's out. I am so happy with the Li, and to know one phone call away is cliff who is truly the best at what he does. I must say, the laserjammertest.com is well, believe what you want. Look around at testing videos on youtube, here on the forum and i dont think too many complain about Li or their warranty. Both blinder and laserinterceptor are excellent choices, for me the customer service is second to noone with the Li's. If you have a problem, cliff at Li will fix it or help you in the right direction with how to fix. Good luck on your choice. Both companies put an excellent product out and comes to personal preference. Hope this helps you

I've said it many times and it's still worth repeating, LI customer service is the best! I just wish every gadget I bought was supported at the same high level.
