    Default panic attack

had a close call the other day with sti. As i was going from side street to two lane hwy at night i was picking up k band and upon entering hwy i notice a set of headlights approaching around the bend of a bridge with another set passing in a non passing area with k band getting stronger. Car follows me for about a minute then lights up the cherries. As i scramble to turn off the sti i was only thinking he tracked thje sti somehow. As he approaches he says i was clocked 120 in 80 . I said hardly as i had just entered the hwy. He replies, it must have been car in front of you. Whew, what bad timing or what. On another note i have been picking up mostly k band radar but usually with little warning say 1/2 to 3/4 km at most. Is this normal or is my sti less sensitive.

When did you purchase you unit?...........what's the version number :?:
The comments I have been reading on the new ones are that they seem to be less sensitve :!: I purchased mine in May and I know it's very sensitive. I personally would rather have it that way. What mode are you using :?:

Oh by the way, I did a road trip up the 401 today.......and boy they (OPP) are coming out of the woodwork. I must have seen 15 LEO's :!: :!: :!: You can sure tell when a holiday weekend is here

I went through one K band and I must have picked it up about 2-3 kms :!: :!: :!:

As to my worries of being detected by the RDD..........that's out the door. I was passed by an LEO in a plain wrapper and nothing....whether he had a spectre.....that's a different question. A good roadtrip and test

Oh plus it helps to have a scanner to monitor them  Boy what a GREAT combo package
