RX65 Setup

So, I am going to be receiving my RX65 in about 3 days. I live in california and I believe its only KA band here.

So what would be the best settings for the RX65.

i'm thinking: X off, K off, Pop off, and put it in USA mode and city mode?

I'd def. leave K on for awhile just to be sure.

but other than that do i have the correct settings or do i need some changes?

WEll, I got mine about 3 hours ago.

From what I've read, In MA and RI, X,K, KA and Laser are all used pretty much...and I travel both daily.

so, for my 65 I've gone with :

Autoscan
X -on
K-on
Ka- USA
POP- on(eh, why not)
set to THREAT ALERT with voice on.

coming off the highway, I may change over to "city" once in the mall filled suburb roads.....

hahaha, I have no money what so ever. I'm only 17 years old. It was my mom car but she got another 98 750 so i took this one, but we tried to sell it and couldn't even get 12k for it. hahaha. But ya i love this car. the power is nice. and i have so fun with the DSC off ;]

OK i would say K on Ka on in USA mode. Keep laser on and then turn off every thing else. I would drive around in autoscan mode, i you get too many falses try city.
