Can you disable X on the v995 in highway mode as well or is it just for city?

You can shut down any band completely. For X you also have City, LoX and NoX. These modes just raise the audible alert threshold. They do not actually shut X off. These give you the opportunity to quiet X down yet still having threat coverage if there is a slight chance X is out there. You must be really paying attention to the visual alerts though.

Answered the question, after diggin through pdf manuals, only vector model to be able to disable X completely in highway mode is the 955.

995 you mean?

I'd just put the 955 in City No X when in the city, and Highway, well, when on the highway. You shouldn't be encountering X falses on the highway. Or are there X drones in your area? If that's the case, I'd just put it in City No X. City mode shouldn't affect Ka band, though it might do something with K band. Either way, it'll still alert.
