Ku band alert

I was traveling to and from the Detroit Metro Airport last night and got a Ku band alert on the way there, and as I was leaving. Both of them were near the airport. On the way there it got up to Ku5 on the threat display. Has anyone else ever gotten Ku band alerts around airports or anywhere else for that matter??

First I've heard of it, what detector are you using?

cell phones will set off a Ku alert...what detector is it?

It's the RX65. It wasn't my cell phone cause I didn't have it with me at the time. I have Tmobile and it always sets off the laser alert when I am getting a call, but never a Ku band.

i have it go off and notice the car next to me is on the phone...id say it was just a cellphone or a tower...

These airport antenas are really setting off RDs, the most common false around airports is Laser but KU can be caused by these antenas too. Ive seen a cellular antena setting of my X band too , ill say its one of these antenas too.
