    Default STi-R PLUS

I recieved a database update for my detector today and just finished uploading it.
I'm hoping its fixed the false alerts problem, ie a speed/red light camera at nearly every intersection where there isn't any.
I guess i'll find out tomorrow when i go for a drive.

I just wish they had sent a software/firmware update for smaller lock out radii.

After using this model now for a few months i can understand why they can not make the frequency blocks any smaller due to tempreture fluctuations. The same false can vary a fair bit depending on the ambient tempreture.
So smaller lockout blocks are not the answer to the problems of locking out a real threat.
It is the size of the lockout radii and accumulative radii overlaps.

However, DSI Stinger does this job perfect with no doupt! Works like a charm... nothing else looking for! Maybe you have to lock out a signal different times, but that proves it really sees any LEOs. In the worst case, after the third pass it's gone but still sees the new frequencies coming. (looks like they use a very small radius...)

What with that update ? Does it help for your problem ?

    No it did not.
    Two different things.
The database update was for fixed redlight/speed camera locations.
The autolock problem is a seperate problem.
