thanks for the link.... I have found that k band still sucks, v1 better range, ka 33.8 about same as v1, I will test 35.5 over the weekend

The Bel STi does a great job at detecting ka 35.5 off axis though.

Try experimenting with TSR on/off. My STi (non TSR 09/09) is excellent on k band.

I have a feeling this bel has a bad antenna on the k band side, ka is great on 35.5 ,33.8, and 34.7..... look what was sent to me yesterday l . It looks like the redline by escort is the same as the sti driver. I took mine apart last night and it has the same antenna as the redline the bel sti in the picture is the old antenna http://www.radardetector.net/forums/616384-post44.html

Both the Bel STi and the Escort RedLine use the M3 antenna, but there are slight differences between the two detectors. The RedLine is more sensitive on all bands than is the STi.

Just a quick question what buttons did you use to find out your Firmware version I'm not seeing it on boot up.A?M?
I would like to check mine,not seeing it on boot up.
