v1 plug works on the STi

I just checked the polarity of the STi plug myself with the voltmeter and it confirms what the Bel Cust. Serv. rep told me on the phone. Red is +ve, green is ground. I checked the wiring for the V1 i have on my bike and it is the same...

STi powered up no problems using the power cord from the V1. now to figure out the speaker options on the bike.....

yeah my v1 wires work with the 8500

I used my V1 and RX 65 on the same cord.
