It means that instead of the jammer heads facing straight ahead they are angled outward slightly.

    Instead of this | |

    it's more like this \ /

Imagine a pair of headlights where there right side bulb is aimed out to the right and the left side bulb is aimed out to the left. This adds more illumination to the sides of the road but reduces the illumination to the road directly ahead since there is now less overlap between the coverage areas of the two bulbs.

What difference this makes in the real world is tough to say without thorough comparison testing.

Ooh ok. That would seem to help with off axis side shots. We need to get this tested! This would probably ideal with a 3 head setup:

    \(driver side light- toe'd)\ |(center mass - straight)| /(passenger side light - toe'd)/

It's having your heads pointing angled outwards to some degree, instead of aimed straight ahead. It is highly NOT recommended for two-head set-ups. But it is worth experimenting with on a 3 or 4 head set-up, if you have particularly vulnerable headlight assemblies that wrap around quite a bit. So far though, nobody had demonstrated any solid results with it. You certainly would NOT want to do it without the ability to thoroughly test it afterwards.
