Personally I am of the opinion that some protection is better than nothing.

I don't think its worth $320 for both. but $300 for an M20 and M40 isn't a bad deal. Putting an M40 all up front on a 2009 Jetta will offer some great performance for the $200 Price tag Though I would add VEIL to the headlights

An M20 might be able to give ticket saing performance BUT would definitely require VEIL. With an M40 on the front of a 2009 Jetta with VEIL stealth Coating would be a decent performer in the real world.

These older M20/M40 hardly compare to the newer M27/M47 but the money tou spend on a M47 and M27 would not be worth it.

EDIT: The people that tell you its not worth it. Have 1) not been in the scene long enough to still know that the M20/M40 are decent jammer. and 2) The amazing price you are getting for the M40 and M20 is a great deal. And think money grows on trees

While yes I will conceed the performance and options of the newer blinders are in the newer blinder's favor. This deal your friend is giving you is amazing and with an M40 on the front of the car you mentioned give you plenty of performance to save you a ticket or too. Add some VEIL and you will have an amazing budget performing system.

Not worth it in my opinion. Save a little more and a M27 would protect as good or better than all 4 of those heads...Plus the M27 is updatable over the internet.

The pre Stealth Mode units were awesome jammers in their day. I have a post Stealth Mode jammer & the only gun that really gives me fits is the PL3 HL shots. Anything center mass is JTG or PT at about 100 or so feet. Even though the Truspeed was not around when it was made, jamming it is no problem. I like the M40 as it does not false on Infinity cruise controls like some newer jammers. Until it breaks or a new gun comes along I can't jam, I am sticking with my M40.*

*Unless I get another "test" vehicle in the near future.
