    Default Car Camera Systems

I am looking for a system that does the following:

    Rear Bumper Camera
    Front grill Camera
Camera on the speedometer showing what I see when I drive

I want this because my friend got sued even though it wasn't her fault...

If I ever have an incident like this, I want to get the people to lie under oath and then present camera evidence and get them in jail for perjury(When the DA's office calls, I will tell them to throw the book at those ****ers!), and counter sue them for court fees and emotional damages (Lets face it, these suing retards BELONG IN JAIL WITH NO MONEY! They are the reason medical insurance is so expensive also...)

It would also be useful to prove the speed I am going....

Anyone have any products that can fill any of these roles for a decent cost while having decent quality?

Check out my setup. I have a one-channel portable motion-activated SD card DVR hooked-up via a video switch to my mini security camera behind my RVM and a back-up cam. I plan on getting a mobile 4 channel DVR at some point. Check out my thread for links to the mp3car.com thread that inspired me. They actually hooked up a GPS device to imprint the speed in the video. I'm not sure I want my speed recorded, though.

Well I'm new here, but thats a very good idea, I have a rear back-up cam already from my AVIC D3 Navi but I would like to have one that records. for front, rear and speedometer. Reason for the speedometer is I live in a small rural area and my mother called me one day saying she was pulled over for doing 72 in a 55 when she states she was going 50, I believe her, for two reasons, one she has never had a traffic ticket her whole life, and two if you don't the local police here and when they have to fill in their ticket books by the end of the month, they go dirty, if you all know what I mean. But this would also help as you state "Ovencleaner" and I agree with you 110%, but I shall see what I can dig up

it's the power acoustik ccd-4xs from buy.com. it's only $101.99 now with free shipping. i got it for $114. it's a steal if you ask me. i've gone through two other cheaper back-up cameras and you get what you pay for.

I was thinking for using a Home Security DVR (like the one I have, it has 250GB HD, and when its full it starts to record over again) running that to a power converter and running a toggle switch to my power block (which connects to my 2nd battery(I'm a car audio junkie)), so I can turn it on and off, which i would only be using it while driving, and then 3 pinhole cams, one up front, one in the rear and one at the speedometer. Now Scruit has a really kool and great thing with his, the LED box with turn, brake, head, and rev lights, (not sure where I would get one of those, let alone how to hook it up) and just for the fun of it, put a decal on the car stating is has a camera system on it
