I think more than a few departments have figured out there is little practical application for POP and the price premium that goes along with the radars capable of it. My county has stopped ordering BEE-IIIs for the STEP units and has gone back to using Ka Python 2/3 FSs. If they want to avoid tipping off radar detector users, they'll just use laser.
FWIW, I have seen stationary handheld units used maybe 2-3 times in the past 10 years. Usually I'd see them being used by motor units, but most departments have given them laser to use instead. I don't see 16ms POP ever being a big threat.
I would much rather have RD.net member tests than "professional" tests any day of the week
