Dark tint is just a bad idea. LEO like to pull cars over with dark tint, trust me your are better off without it. I dated a girl who's mom was an eye surgeon and she offered to write me a letter once when I was talking about this stuff with her. She said she had written a couple and even had a patient with front window tint (although that guy really needed it). In the end I deiced that even if you get off your still getting pulled over and that is something I try to avoid entirely.

It all depends on what having the tint is worth going through to the individual. Getting pulled over is a normal thing for me now. I don't mind a few pull-overs a year and an occasional ticket for the tint. As long as it keeps me feeling well and the car cool, I'm happy.

I actually have a medical exemption for the tint on my car (5 percent all around, 35 percent on the windshield). I get pulled over a lot with it, but the cops never give me tickets or anything. But in Michigan tint prescriptions are legal. Usually they say having the tint on my two front windows is illegal I tell them I have a medical exemption and explain my disorder and they say drive safe and let me go on my way.
