Well i noticed the sign was acting kinda like Instant on. It would cut off if traffic wasnt moving. Almost like it was motion activated.

Is it normal for the RD to do that? Thats what I noticed about the 6.1 is that it goes from 2 to full blast.

Actually my x50 ramps up perfectly. Just that sisgn somehow only turns on once the driver is going 10-15 mph. So its instant on. Plus its really not that great of a testing object, i was just bored.

I think the X50 is one of the best ramping up detectors. It knows exactly how frequent to make the tones to give you the best feel of how far away the source is.
