the redlight camera detection is kind of a low blow to enforcement. It would be a bad image for escort to have red light camera locations in their radar. That kinda promotes traffic offenses.

Which version of the V1 were you using? Mine is 3.854.

Of course now if Escort were smart they would let a few out to the public early just to see the reaction and hear the comments of the beta testers before they hit the market full time.
What bugs are you talking about??? I have yet to have a problem with any feature of mine so far (KNOCK ON WOOD) Is there something you know that the rest of us don't??? Or is this just speculation?

I think the 9500i is worth buying right now especially if the GPS function is done right

A few of us that have the 9500i have been providing "real world" driving condition results.

Here are the results: It detects radar at a far enough distance that you can slow down. It silences False (door opener) detections and it Marks locations.

I'd rather have "real world" results than some straight line desert test. I don't live in a desert. Even the lamest of lame Cobra will alert you in enough time if you look at those tests. But who would put their trust in a Cobra?

Well I am thinking of buying it to test it out for myself. If you saw my V1 and Bel Pro RX65 test videos against K band YSI (Your Speed Is) signs then you know that there is a hill plus curve combo a curve plus straight combo, and a curve and on the other side special.

My dilemma is I can only really test K band and not KA ( unless I find a participating CHP )

What do you guys think I should do in that respect?
