You might be right, but just before I installed my 9500ci, I tested my SRX with it's ZR3s against the UL and the average PTs we got were about 300ft. Then, once I installed my 9500ci with it's ZR4s, the average PTs were about 150ft. So, I'm not totally convinced that there are not some performance improvements between the ZR3s and the ZR4s. GOL might clear some of this up.

I wouldn't say that the ZR4s have unknown results against the UL. RacerX and I shot my ZR4s with several laser guns and summarized the results here:
