    Default When should we expect the new Escort SOLO

    So, I have actually been anticipating the release of a new SOLO cordless radar detector by Escort, and now the 9500CI and 9500xi are out, I have a feeling something may be brewing at Escort.

    What are your thoughts of a new SOLO coming out and how much longer should we wait?

    Maybe if it had a lithium rechargeable instead of regular AA's. They should forget any ideas about another release powered on AA's.

    Any battery operated radar detector is pointless in buying.

    Except for us "serious enthusiasts" who use one on a twenty-one speed bike just for ****s & giggles. No harm intended by doing this I hope.

    It will come out as soon as they can get it to alert to any POP radar, any instant-on radar, radar from far away, radar from far away around a curve, and when it can consistently beat a crappy Cobra or RMR radar detector which it couldn't do in the latest testing. This means you will never see another battery operated POS again.

    I don't know about you but I'm not dropping between $300-$400 on a bottom of the ladder detector. You are better off having three crispy $100 bills in your wallet waiting to fall out into a cop's hand when you give him your license after you get stopped.

    That is funny s****

    * stuff

    I actually had one for about a week a few months ago, it was totally worthless. Missed Ka alerts altogether. Couldn't believe Escort would even put a product like that out there.
