when you use expert mode and watch the amount of signals you're receiving during locking out (confirming its ONLY 1), as well as checking it with spec mode for frequency, then lock it out as close to the false as you can get with the smallest hint of alert, then shut the unit down to prevent it from continuing the lockout - and not starting it up until you're over a mile from the original lockout point.........you can be sure you did everything in your power to cut down on the lockout radius. And as I said...I did this with ALL my lockouts...and still saw LEO lockouts 1/2 mile from the falses. How much more in depth do you have to get to use this supposed "Intelligent Feature" that still locks out LEO's?
So to reconfirm my statement....IT DOESNT DO A VERY GOOD JOB OF USING THE SIGNAL STRENGTH INFORMATION IT "RECORDS" AT THE TIME OF LOCKOUT.
i.e. - "useless"
Ramp up on the V1 is so accurate that I ALWAYS know when its a false of K band, and when its a threat. And there's NEVER a chance its "blocked" so I'm ignorant to it..like with the "intelligent" detector that uses TRUECROCK.
