The video author says that he simply downloaded and installed the new software from Escort's web site. That post was two months ago. Weird.

I am going by ELVATO's BEL STi 3.6 mile KA video....BEL STi is still unacceptable....

It is better though. I will be trying my old v995 this weekend to verify that rampup is improved

I think Elvato's STi is pre-fix. Him speeding up the video in spots makes it sound like three or four alert rates.

Highway mode ramps us with no regard to speed. Auto mode adjusts sensitivity based on speed, so the rampups are more jumpy.
