Save and a show off

My friend has a RMR and I have been educating him on RDs.
The other day we were on the freeway and the IX started going off I slowed down from 5 over to psl, we looked around and saw nothing. About 1/4 mile down the road was a bridge as we passed under the bridge I expected to see the cop there hidden behind it, but not there. The RD is still going off but faster now. 1/4 mile down is another hiding spot just bast the bridge over the salt river (more like a creek) and still nothing, Rd is now up to full blast KA. Our exit is soon upon us and as we started up the exit there he is under this bridge. Now the 9500IX picked him up about 1 1/2 miles out. My friend could not believe how well the IX worked, he also likes the auto learn function as he got to see it in action.
I like to show off how well the IX works.

Its nice to have advanced warning of a threat but slowing down 1.5 miles is bit far.
If you are going to do that theres no point in speeding anyway.
