Well from my experience with Expert mode Escort is doing just that, giving good information.
Its not 5 different things at once it simplifies what you are seeing/hearing. 2 times i have gotten multiple frequency’s and the was a LEO near a false lock out, it certainly got my attention.
I don't think so. Escort's spec mode does kind of the same thing. If I start tracking a second contact, the frequency displayed will jump back and forth between the two different frequencies. Maybe my opinion is skewed, because I have never had a V1 with a properly working bogey counter that didn't ghost.
Well I have not had a ghosting problem on the highway which is where I use the V1 anyway, all Im saying is the V1 gives me better all around awarness than the Redline. The Redline shines on long distance alerts and will beat the V1 80% of the time but you dont know if they are in front of you or behind. With the Redline even in Expert mode tracking mutiple signals the screen is very hard to see so I think they need to incorperate a tone when a new signal is encountered, your CI might be setup so that the display is easy to see, but mounting the Redline by the RV makes the screen very hard to see in the exspert mode the little lines are tiny.
