9500xi Warranty question

I am thinking of buying a 9500xi on ebay. New ones go for 425-435. If I do will Escort give me a one year warranty or do I have to buy from a authorized dealer. I read one of two people say somewhere that you have to buy from authorized dealer.

Needs to be purchased from a authorized dealer to have, or extend the warrantee.

Now if its Escorts eBay store it will have a warr, but I don't believe they sell ix's on there.

Thansk, If I buy one I will buy directly from Escort. they have a 80 dollar trade in right now.

Not worth saving a few bucks on ebay.

Just bought mine direct from Escort and got the $80.00 discount for trading in my old unit... total is $419.99. Use what you save to buy the extended warranty of the Updates package. Oh, and another really cool thing is that Escort is offering 90 days same as cash with that deal... how could you go wrong... buy today and pay it off in May.

XI is probably made in china, IX is made in USA.

How do you trade in old RD? Do you ship it first? Can you trade in any brand?
