Default Gotta love the Expert Meter

Today I was running the Redline, using the Expert Meter. We came up toward a construction zone about 1 mile away. The Redline starts showing Ka, then 2 Ka signals. Then a K. Somewhere in there it said "multiple signals detected". Then a 2nd K band.

What was happening was there were 2 Troopers at the construction zone, one on each side of the highway. Both had their front and rear antennas on. It was neat to see the relative strengths go up and down as I approached and passed.

Nice. I'm a big fan of Expert Meter myself. I switch back and forth between Spec mode and Expert ... wish there was a combo of the two.

I wish that, too. Seems like they could have a two line display quite easily.

I have it, love seeing spec mode and expert at the same time, including "multiple frequencies detected", too bad it cost over $2000 to do it.

    I guess its a 1900cix.

Funny - I was thinking same thing today. I've been running Expert meter for the past couple of months and just today switched back to Spec mode (which I used for the first 3 months). What we need is a Redline with arrows+spec mode+expert meter.

It was two Troopers, one facing each way on opposite sides of the road.

Hey, just found this on the Escort Forum:

When connected to one of our detectors with the detector kit, the SC55 will display and announce all alerts from the detector. You can still keep the detector's display on (for instance so you can use spec mode to see frequency on the detector and the signal strength on the SC55 display) or turn the detector display off completely. You can also mute the detector through the SC55 or with the smart cord as normal.

Um, I think I might be ordering one...

I'll have to look into the SC55 if that is true. I'll need to see if it is compatible with the STI-R.
