Will there be an X50 update for Ku band?

I just read recently that Ku band radar detectors are on sale and I'd like to be ready for that when DE/MD/DC/VA decide to updgrade (since I'd consider them to be the most tech-savvy cops in this area)

The threat of Ku coming to a city near you is slim... Belscort I believe has said that if Ku does for some odd reason become a threat they will send out a new Rev. to allow for Ku band detection... but as of right now that feature (in the states) is all but useless.

I bet Bel/escorts's update means you buy a new radar detector, remember this is the same company who sold 980 and 985's that were suppose to be "software upgradeable" and that never happened!!

I know this did suck but i think bel gives you like 70 back for one of these now

Pshh, if they want me to do a trade-up, they better be giving me back $200 for the X50 when they release their new one.

Better yet, and ive been saying this alot lately, my next RD will probably be a V1. Hopefully by then the V1 will ditch its retro display and get a slick oversized LCD display.
