BTW is it just me or does this page get more colorful when you sign in? I mean...it just seems to light up! The smilies are AWESOME

same boat. one day I came here to check out some info and there was all of this " you need 15 posts to view links..." and I cried a little, thus I joined and feel like a 4 year old asking questions and making pointless comments, but i do understand the need for the post limits.

The same for me. I'm trying to play by the rules, but without seeing pictures and URLs, sometimes one can't contribute.

Yup, same here. Gotta get to the arbitrary limit. I imagine it's because they can't get a good captcha, so it's to weed out bots.
