Default New to site - from Florida

Been lurking a short while. Recently updated RD's for the cars and bike and just added Cheetah m27 on bike.

    Great info here.

Welcome to the forum, fellow Floridian. There is a laser countermeasure test this sat in South Florida, if you are interested.

I bought the Whistler xtr-695se, primarily because 1) It seems to have rated well in Ka distance detection 2) It has a built in audio output which is great for motorcycle use 3) it was within a price point I felt comfortable with.

Thanks for the welcome and the invitation to the SW Florida event. I have never been to one of these and I would like to go. Unfortunately, I am committed this weekend.

I will keep an eye out for the next shootout.

Ok. For your Whistler, these are the settings I recommend you run it in:

    - KA MAX RSID
    - POP OFF
    - FILTER
    -HIGHWAY

Also, I believe X band is not used in your state so you could turn that off as well.
