Welcome. Some people say Veil helps some, other say it helps a lot, and some say they don't know.

what happens when a cop tries to get your speed but you have a laser jammer
does it give his gun an error or just nothing?
anyway i dont think its a good idea because hes probably going to go after me just because of that since they are illegal too

Speeding is illegal too. If you use the jammer properly, a LEO should not suspect you of jamming. A laser jammer is the only sure defense available for police laser.

If your looking for a good set up, then you should consider getting the Redline and a Laser Jammer, either Blinder or LI, shoot me a pm and I can hook you up with a great deal from radarbusters.com, I guarantee you will not be disappointed

^ Good advice, and GreenRadar will do you right.

Radar Detector wise, your best choices are indeed either the Escort Redline or the BEL STI-R. The choice comes down to whether you want a portable unit (Redline) that you can move between vehicles, or a permanent mount (STI-R) that is more stealthy overall. Performance between the two is about equal.

If you go with a Redline, getting caught isn't a big concern. As already pointed out, you can hide it in a visor pouch. Even if you don't, unless you're driving a big jacked up pickup truck, an officer would have to stick his head into your car and look up to see it, so it's very unlikely.

After reading the FAQ, you can let us know EXACTLY what car you drive, and we can make some jammer recommendations. As mentioned, so long as you turn the jammer off immediately after slowing down, you won't have to worry about the police pulling you over for not getting your speed.

In QC, can't you just claim you don't speak French if the cops pull you over?

the Beltronic permanent mount (STI-R) is what I was looking for all along
    Stealthy and un-detectable

Do you know where is the best place to buy them and how much they go for?
Are there group buys sometimes? (im not in a hurry because im selling my current car)
