    I just recently got into radar detectors, and I am already addicted to them. lol. I currently have a Bel V940 and Im hoping to be upgrading soon.

    Not sure yet. Narrowed it down to the STI-driver, 9500IX or a redline.

    Out of those three, my opinion would be the Redline. Also don't forget about a V1.

    Im most likely going to buy my next detector from radarbusters.net and they dont have the V-1 But from what I have been seeing the redline has a little better range than the V-1 in some situations. Im really leaning towards the redline.

    Where do you drive? City? Highway? Of those three, I prefer the 9500ix, but I live in a huge city with tons of false alerts. The STi has the least amount of features of these three, but has the best rampup.

    X2 on djrams80 comment. Really depends on where you need protection, city, rural, which state, etc. The Redline does have issues with ramp up, but that should not be a reason to pass it up.

    Glad to hear your planning on buying from radarbusters, give me a call when your ready to make your buy and I'll set you up with a discount and yeah it is a bummer we don't sell the V1, it would be nice
